Paul Clark Jr Ministries Home In most all evangelical communities singing is an important part of worship. Two activities consistent through most of Baptist worship history are preaching and singing. Those charged with the responsibility of leading song in Christian worship have an awesome task. In the free church tradition worship has no prescription set by an ecclesial authority other than the leadership of the local congregation. Since Baptist polity encourages voluntary associations of churches working together to advance the cause of Christ in their communities, states, nation, and around the world, those of us working to assist those churches seek ways to offer inspiration, information, and opportunity for fellowship and collective ministry. The intention of this site and of Paul Clark Jr Ministries is to make assistance available in the communities normally served through the Tennessee Baptist Convention, but also to offer networking beyond state and denominational lines. It is hoped that such development will simply broaden the tent of inclusive ministry, and will expand the base of knowledge and input into more settings where the name of Jesus Christ is praised through song. |
